Turbo Back Exhaust

DPF Back Exhaust
Designed for later model Tritons fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Which System Should You Choose?
Here's a quick decision guide based on your Triton's generation:
- MK Triton (1996–2006)? Go turbo back and the 4M40 responds brilliantly to a full system upgrade.
- ML Triton (2006–2009)? Turbo back all the way. The 3.2L 4M41 is a strong engine that loves a free flowing exhaust.
- MN Triton (2010–2015)? Another turbo back candidate. The 2.5L 4D56 is known to run hot under load and a proper exhaust system makes a real difference to EGTs when towing or touring. A full turbo back system is compliant.
- MQ or MR Triton (2016–On)? You've got two solid options here. Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a tune after fitting a new exhaust?
For most stock or mildly modified Tritons a tune isn't strictly required after an exhaust upgrade alone. However if you're combining the exhaust with other modifications like an intake, intercooler or EGR work a tune will help you extract the full benefit of the combined package.
How long does installation take?
A professional exhaust shop can typically fit one of our Triton systems in 2–4 hours depending on the vehicle's condition and system type. Older vehicles with corroded hardware may take a little longer.
