This is the full manifold back system for the standard 3 door Jimny. Starting from the manifold and replacing everything back it's the most comprehensive exhaust upgrade you can do on the 3 door. Should You Combine the Extractor with a Manifold Back System?

Short answer: yes, if you want the full picture. The extractor and the manifold-back system work together as a complete exhaust solution the extractor handles the upstream scavenging from the head and the manifold back system takes care of the flow from there to the tailpipe. Running both gives you the best possible exhaust flow improvement across the entire system.

If budget is a consideration start with the manifold-back system it delivers the most noticeable improvement for the money. You can always add the extractor later as a second stage upgrade.

3 Door vs 5 Door — Does It Matter?

Yes, it does. The Jimny XL 5door has a longer wheelbase and different underbody routing compared to the 3door.
